Leathsole came to life in 2019 after Merake, Simona Tanning and GTS started talking and brainstorming on how we could use leather waste scraps and recycle plastic together, to turn them into a new product to be used by the shoe industry.

So they patent Leathsoles and start producing them in 2021.

The leather scraps are mixed with binding agents and recycled plastic or rubber, to produce outsoles and insoles.
